Introducing Mistake Detection

We're excited to announce a feature we've been working on for the past 3 years —Tarteel mistake detection.
Rolling out to all premium users today, reciting on Tarteel will now highlight all the mistakes that you make, and vibrate to alert you when you make them.
To deliver this seamless experience, mistake detection took over 3 years of research and development, pushing the boundaries of speech recognition technology.
We trained our artificial intelligence models on more than 75,000 minutes of highly curated Quran recitation data, allowing us to achieve state-of-the-art Quranic audio recognition accuracy.
Our AI is optimized using the latest technology from NVIDIA which enables us to perform realtime recognition with <200ms latency and deliver the quality Tarteel experience you know. Fast. Accurate. Amazing.

Mistake detection currently supports word-level mistakes:
- Missed words
- Incorrect words
- Extra word
It doesn't support letter-level mistakes (yet):
- Fatha / Damma / Kasra
- Pronunciation
- Tajweed
You can use mistake detection by downloading the Tarteel app on iOS or Android, and take your Quran memorization to the next level.
