Tarteel AI has announced Faisal Choudhry as it's new Head of Marketing, in August 2022.
Choudhry is most commonly known for his role as director of Freshly Grounded, one of the largest podcast channels in the Muslim world, interviewing the likes of Mufti Menk, Sonny Bill Williams, Moeen Ali and Arnaut Danjuma. Faisal's love for content creation and organic marketing saw Freshly Grounded grow from a bedroom project to amassing 4 million monthly downloads and a hugely popular live event extension.
Faisal will oversee the marketing operations at Tarteel with the aim to further expose the mobile application and overall brand to an ever-growing market.
Tarteel's mission has been to strengthen the relationship Muslims have with the Quran, and to provide the best technology and tools to support that goal. The app, which aims to encourage recitation, memorization & revision of the Quran, has received avid reviews and has been downloaded in over 150 countries worldwide.
In a statement, Faisal said "I have been captivated by the idea of technology for as long as I can remember and have been passionate about how we can use tech to align with the lifestyle of Muslims. I have been amazed by the passion, sincerity and professionalism of the Tarteel team and am honoured to be a part of the journey."
